One-to-one yoga sessions

A regular yoga practice relieves stress and fatigue and brings about invigoration and vitality.

Physiological benefits include improvement of balance, posture and internal systems; the stabilisation of the autonomic nervous system and the strengthening of cardiovascular systems. Psychological benefits such as self-acceptance, elevated moods, improved concentration and memory come naturally, and bio mechanical functions are supported; things like decreasing sodium and glucose in the body and increasing haemoglobin and thyroxin release. Asana (physical poses), detoxify our bodies through the squeezing of the internal organs and systems through moving into positions that we wouldn’t usually be in.

This one to one session utilises a gentle Hatha flow style yoga which is perfect for beginners or people with injuries who might not wish to attend a class. An hour and a half practice incorporates a physical yoga practice tailored to your individual needs and also includes guided meditation, visualisation and breath-work to bring the body, heart and mind into alignment.
